Easter 2012

April 7th and 8th, 2012

I love, love, love Easter!!!!!!!  This is what we did.... 

On Saturday morning we headed down to the Paradise Easter party.  Dan, Angie, Kaylee, Colee, and Katie came out to support us and hep out managing the kids.  We all divided up with the 4 kids and conquered the egg hunts.  

Then at 1 pm we went to Clarkston to Grandma Pages house and had lunch and an Easter egg hunt with all the cousins.  

On Sunday we woke up to a house filled with eggs full of Easter candy and told the story of the resurrection and sacrifice of our Savior.  The kids are so smart and already knew what it was about, but they were really excited to be able to ask questions and talk about the people they want to talk to when they die.  It was really spiritual and amazing to see how much these small children can teach us.

We went to church with Dan and Angie and had a delicious dinner with them followed yet another Easter egg hunt.  Then we went to Old Main in Logan to roll our boiled and raw eggs down the hill.  They were gone before we knew it, but it was a lot of fun to keep that tradition alive.  

For desert we headed to Grandma/pa Cakes house and had delicious apple pie and angel food cake with strawberries and cream.  To end the night we did an egg activity to remind us again of the resurrection of Christ.  Here are the pics...
