Thank Heaven For Little Girls

As promised, here are some of the pictures that our friends took for us~!
Look how strong she is! At Lauren's 2 week appointment our doctor told us that she was a really strong baby. She must get that from my side of family:') She looks just like Jailyn & Andi in this picture...and I guess most all the other pictures.

In her Daddy's big strong hands. I like this picture because you can see how perfect she is and also how tiny she is.Maybe she is a little bit hungry here.This is Jailyn and Andi with Darby, the Logan's beautiful daughter. I love these pictures because they show how our girls really are. Especially this first one. Jailyn is usually super stoked about life and especially about Lauren. Lauren is wondering what the heck is going on and why is Jailyn aways smothering me and Andi is looking at Lauren wondering why she is still here and what the big deal is.

Then Lauren starts to cry which makes Jailyn nervous and Andi happy because, surely the baby isn't as cute when she is crying...right?Here is our relaxed, always happy,o-so-photogenic little girls. Thank heaven for little girls!...by the way good luck to the Morgan's who are expecting their 3rd baby and hoping for a little girl!I love the feet pictures!

Adorable Little Smile

I love watching little baby's especially Lauren.
She makes the funniest faces. She smiles a lot when she is trying to get to sleep. She is so happy and I bet her siblings in heaven are keeping her entertained while she is sleeping. Which reminds me, I have a question about heaven. Do you think that babies waiting to come to earth get to hang out with people who have already been here? I've always assumed they do because my Great Grandma Page used to ask babies if they played baseball with Grandpa Page before they came to earth. I want to know what everyone thinks, so let me know, leave your comment.

The Logan's are Amazing!

Matt & Julie Logan are some of our best friends, and Matt is an amazingly talented photographer! They came over last Tuesday and took pictures of Lauren and our girls for us. Lauren wasn't very easy to shoot because she was so alert and awake the entire time. Lauren is awake a lot, she isn't like most newborns who sleep all the time. She is usually wide awake for 7-10 hours a day, and that doesn't include nighttime.

Getting Away!

Since we've had Lauren we have all been cooped up at home going crazy. We have all needed a little escape so yesterday Rich and I were trying to think of something fun that we could do with the girls and decided to head up to the cabin for a little overnighter. We invited up our friends Whit and Jordan and had a great time!

When we woke up today Whitney looked outside and saw three large donkeys eating the trees close to our cabin. So we all went and peaked out the window to see these three moose. I guess we need to take Jordan and Whitney out more, maybe to the zoo and cabelas. (You know we love you Whitney)Jailyn and Andi are a couple of fish. She loves the water and was so excited to go swimming at the pool. I was a little hesitant and a party pooper until we got there and saw how much fun the girls were having at the pool. I guess I should listen to my girls more and remember to be a kid myself! We ended up having a blast...can't wait for summer.

Jailyn loves to jump in the water and see how long she can hold her breath under the water. Andi loves to be like her big sister. She wasn't quite brave enough to jump in the water like Jailyn but she kept trying to work up to it anyways! We also went sledding down the hill once but I didn't get any pictures of that. I will get some from Whitney and then post them.

My friend Whitney tagged me and said that I needed to go to your fourth folder and find your fourth picture and post it. Here it is. This is a picture of Rich, Jailyn and Andi. We drew faces on Daddy's toes and then we drew faces on Jailyn and Andi's fingers. The girls thought it was fun and funny! I tag Brittany, Amber, Leisha, and Shalie. You're IT!

Donald's Mission Call

Today donald; my little brother; called me and told me to come over so that he could open his mission call. We got to my parents house at about 12:45, called Travis and Tyler and opened Trent's mission call. Trent has been called to serve in the Mexico, Tijuana Mission. He wil be speaking spanish and leaves on June 17th. I am so excited for him! Now he can spreckin' spanish for me and get me all of the cheap drugs so that I don't get jipped. Trent loves posing for all of my pictures...can't you tell. Donald was super excited to finally open his call. Can you see the phones being held up to hear the good news? Donald will be an amazing missionary and I am going to miss him...good thing he will be close enough for me to visit or at least think of visiting. Love you Donald:)

THE BLOWOUT!!!

Today Lauren was watching Indiana Jones with Daddy when he heard her go #2. He sat there for a few more minutes to make sure she was done. When he stood up his hand was covered in poop. It was the most disqusting blowout ever and her first one. So we stripped her down and gave her a bath. She loves to be in the water so I think she had this blowout fo a reason!

She is such a calm baby!She is definitely not like most newborns because she is awake a lot during the day. So far today she has been wide awake since 8:30 and it is now 11:00!

She studies your face while you are holding her. I wonder what she thinks about?

The BIG sisters

We know our girls love Lauren, but Andi has a hard time of showing it. She tells us she wants to hold Lauren so we give her to her and then no more than 30 seconds later Andi pushs Lauren off of her lap and says "Don't like her" or "she doesn't like me". This is the reason there aren't very many pictures of Andi with Lauren. I'm not sure Andi knows why we all like this little baby that does nothing. We love our Andi Lou and all of her expressions!!!

Jailyn on the other hand is in seventh heaven. She loves every minute of the day with baby Lauren. If you have been over to our house while Jailyn is here you know that Jailyn doesn't like to share the baby. She always wants to hold her and is always on top of getting everyone to where "hanitizer" (Jailyn's word for hand sanitizer that we all use now)

Lauren is always pulling the funniest faces. I can never get a good one and pictures just don't do her any justice at all...she is way cuter in real life!I can't believe she is already a week old! She looks so different now than she did when we left the hospital.

Surprisingly enough the girls still love her! And Lauren absolutely loves her big sisters!

Andi loves the baby for about 30 seconds and then decides that it's not as fun as everyone makes it seem. She loves to help with Lauren and likes being called a big sister.

We can't keep Jailyn away from the baby. She doesn't really love visitors because then she has to share Lauren. She will hold her all day. She usually holds her for a few hours a day.

Rich's family came over Sunday night to see the baby and to bring us some delicious cookies! (I only ate half of them) I think that Tyler and Katie need to have a little baby for me to love! They look so good with one...don't you think!

Andi loves Lauren so far, but I don't think she understands what is going on yet. Hopefully she keeps enjoying Lauren. She is going to be a great sister!

I ove holding new born babies. What could be better

Daddy loves to wash the baby's hair for the first time after they are born. I got to watch him wash Lauren's hair this time. She absolutely loved it!

I am going to have a hard time keeping Lauren safe from all of Jailyn's lovin.
