Valentines Day

We had a great Valentines day this year.  We were all able to be together most of the day and we had a blast.  For Breakfast we had pink cream of wheat with a chocolate heart on top with pink milk and a heart toast.  The girls loved it!

 We also received a couple of Valentines day deliveries from our parents.  Rich's family gave each of the kids a super cute sock animal. (Braken is holding his green little sock frog below) along with A LOT of Valentines and chocolate. My family sent us homemade Valentine cookies and gave the girls each an kitchen cooking set with apron, hot pads, napkins and tablecloths.  The girls were really excited to get these packages and love getting stuff from our family in Logan.   

 While Andi and Jailyn were at school Rich and I got their Valentines ready.  We got each of the girls a daisy, a cake and we made them a card.  Rich cleaned their room for them and made their beds.  What a great daddy!

That night after we got the kids to bed we had our friends come over and the men made our dinner for us. It was FABULOUS!  They made it all romantic with candles, (the kind from our 72 hour kits), a little bubbly in our martini glasses, and a homemade chicken alfredo, with rolls and beans!

 The boys decided that they didn't want us to get our nice clothes dirty so they generously tucked our napkins FAR into our shirts, because they didn't want them to fall out.  How considerate!

I had the best Valentines day and was spoiled rotten by my family.  They decorated my bed and helped me clean and are just the best thing for me.  I love Valentines day because it helps me remember to appreciate the people around me.  Rich is so great and is always so willing to help me out and do WHATEVER I ask him too.  He is the best thing in my life and I am so lucky to be married to my best friend.  Life couldn't get any better.  Today truly is the best day ever!
