Jailyns baptism

Miss Jailyn turned 8 in November but decided to wait to get baptized until December when we would be in Utah.  She wanted everyone to have the chance to come to her baptism.  She looked beautiful in her white dress and I haven't seen any baptism girl any more beautiful than she. Here are a few of the pictures we took here in Tennessee before we left.  She is glowing!

We decided that this day was all about Jailyn and gave her full reign over what, where, when and how her baptism program would go.  She did an amazing job and giving assignments and knew just where to put everyone.   Here is what happened at her baptism:

         Jailyn was so excited for her big day to finally come and was glowing the entire day! 

Rich and I are so proud of Jailyn and her decision to become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  Living outside of Utah has helped us all to appreciate what we have and what we believe.  The people here (for the most part) love you for who you are not where you go to church. We may not understand everything perfectly right now or live perfect lives, but we are trying and striving to become more like Christ!  Jailyn is a perfect example of what it means to commit to Christ and to move closer to Him.  She is always striving to serve others and never ceases to amaze us.  She will do amazing things in her life and w feel proud and super blessed to be a part of her life.

P.S.

 This is sweet Ellie!  I miss this little Angel so much and she is growing up without me seeing her do it.  It makes me sad but every moment I get to spend with her is so special.  She is so stinkin cute!!!!
